Floppet Story

On a mysterious, faraway island known as Floptopia, live little creatures called Floppets. Floppets range in size, they can be as small as your thumbnail or the size of a plump guinea pig. Most Floppets are friendly, always seeking a balance to nature. A select few Floppets are trouble makers, always trying to upset the delicate balance of Floptopia.

Floptopia, is hidden from human civilization by a mystical light aura that surrounds the land and disguises it to look like water features when viewed from approaching vessels. Floptopia has many amazing environments, including a tropical rain forest, thriving villages, organic farms, ancient ruins, a slimy swamp, creepy lands, a frosted forest, a gelatin jungle, and a volcano called Mount Dragonblast.

There are several tribes of creatures that inhabit Floptopia, they can be friendly, funny, greedy, or power seeking.

Woodlets - Industrious, wonderful wooden elves that are artists, farmers, adventurers, & craft folk. Woodlets are important to maintaining the balance of Floptopia. The epicenter of Floptopia is Treetop, which serves as the Woodlet central village. Treetop is a giant Banyan Tree which the Woodlets live on and around. Their dwellings take the form of terrace mushrooms that cling to Treetop’s trunk, and little cobble stone houses that sit at its base. Woodlets are born (grown) from the wooden nut pods that grow from Treetop.

Fairwees – Delightful and mystical mini-fairies that are cute, curious, and clever, they are the pixie-like enchantresses of Floptopia. Their sanctuary, Fairweeway, is a floating terrarium just above the rest of Floptopia, atop the blanket of trees in thick clouds. It’s unreachable to those who cannot fly. The Fairwees have a certain elegance to them, fluttering and twirling amidst the clouds like flower dancers of the air. They seek to uphold peace and tranquility on Floptopia, containing knowledge of many hidden secrets. The Fairwees have a special relationship with the Munchkin Monsters that very few understand.

Dragkins – Powerful dwarven dragons that can be unpredictable and dangerous, they inhabit the volcano, Mount Dragonblast, and seldom travel far from it. The frightening Dragonblast is the only place on Floptopia visible from anywhere on the island. Many use its location as their own personal compass. The towering mountain is constantly fuming with smoke, erupting with scorching hot lava at the most unexpected times. Even if it’s the sunniest day on Floptopia, the skies above Dragonblast never cease to be stormy and grey. Though the fierce Dragkins reside in the mountain during the day, they often take advantage of the night to stretch their wings and soar the skies endlessly searching for glittering treasures. No Woodlet would ever dare enter Dragonblast without good reason, on account of their phobia of fire.

Boticans - Robotic creations that can be helpful or harmful to the environment – they are powered by nano-generators and they work in the metallic city of Botica. They are constructed of many of the human junk items that wash up on Floptopia’s shores.

Punkkinz – Mischevious, gnarly, root creatures whose origins date back to a time when the Woodlets took it upon themselves to plant and harvest extra-large pumpkins, only to have it to horribly wrong. The majority of the Punkkinz are bad seeds…literally. The lair of the Punkkinz is Creepy Hollow, a thorny marsh, containing all of the discarded leafs, roots, and bark that was once a part of a fallen Banyan tree similar to Treetop.

Munchkin Monsters – Alien jelly-goo blobs created from a meteor that crashed on Floptopia, they are small, bizarre, almost amoeba-like creatures. Not one of the Munchkin Monsters looks the same, with different amounts of eyes, tentacles, antennas, colors, and other-worldly features. They are jelly blobs in a cute, innocent sort of way, but beware…some may just bite you or blast you with a sting ray! The area that the Munchkin Monsters landed in has become the Gelatin Jungle – with their population center being Gela-10 city. The Gelatin Jungle is growing as the Munchkin Monsters convert Floptopia’s landscape to a jelly-goo to meet their needs.

Rockitz – The wise sedentary rock creatures from Metamorphica, they are as old as Floptopia itself – mainly because they are Floptopia! The Rockitz are known to inhabit Skullduggery Cave. Many Floptopians get lost in these caves, ending up back where they started, this is because the Rockitz move within the floors, walls, and ceilings of the caves, reshaping and reforming the structures to make it appear as though it’s something entirely different, often confusing those who enter. The Skullduggery Caves have secret tunnels that lead to Metamorphica and Dragonblast.

Petlets – Cool miniature animal pets, many live with the Woodlets & Fairwees and others roam around Floptopia – the Petlets were miniaturized by the Munchkin Monsters super shrink-ray when a Circus Boat full of animals got stranded on Floptopia after the human crew abandoned ship during a storm. The Fairwees convinced the Munchkin Monsters to miniaturize the animals in order to allow them to live harmoniously on Floptopia.
